The Salida Hot Springs is a year-round facility offering aquatic recreation and relaxation in natural, hot, mineral water.
Collected underground and piped 5 miles from the source high in the majestic Rocky Mountains, this sparkling clear and odorless water was originally enjoyed by the Ute Indians. It flows continually into the various Salida Hot Springs pools, refreshing and warming them naturally.
Colorado's largest indoor hot springs pool facility. This 1937 WPA project employed some 200 men for digging and laying the original pipeline and constructing the buildings. The facility, including the water line, has been updated several times over the years.

The Pools
Main Pool
A 25-meter, 6-lane pool dominates a large portion of the building. At approximately 82° – 88°F, this pool is delightful for swimming, diving, and recreational play. Two lap lanes are usually available.
Warm Therapy Pool
Across a divider wall, a smaller 4-foot-deep pool holds water at approximately 92° – 102°F. The zero-depth entry provides easy access. Excellent for hot aqua-therapy, exercise, and soaking.
Private Hot Baths
In a separate area of the building, 6 private European-style hot baths are available (adults 18 and over) for your soaking pleasure and may be rented by the hour.

Location & Directions
The Salida Hot Springs pool is located in central Colorado on Highway 50, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, next to the Chamber of Commerce. Facilities are available for tennis, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, and horseshoes. Picnic tables and a playground are also located in Centennial Park, which surrounds the pool complex.
